Before asking you to help us in this, we would like to give you a little explanation of what Striscia la Notizia (
www.striscialanotizia.it) and the Tapiro d'Oro are.
Striscia la Notizia is Italy's most audienced show. It's a kind of news show, but it's funny and its main goal is to let people learn about the truth on many things that are hidden by all other shows and papers. That's why it's happened to become the most audienced show in the whole country.
Each evening (it shows from 8.40 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.) the reporters give a special "prize", which is very ironical, to people who are in shame or guilt of something not serious but of course very embarassing. Reporters usually go and give the prize to the person directly into their office or as soon as they find them outside. All people who are given this "prize" are insulted and ashamed by the whole country.
That's why we came up with the idea to give the Tapiro d'Oro to Sony Music executives: they would end up to be ashamed and people would know the truth about Michael.
After joining the battle against Sony, Shout is proud to present a new way of protesting: we want "Striscia la Notizia" to give the "Tapiro d'Oro" to a representative from Sony Music Italy for their shame.
We already contacted the persons we need, but now we need to show that our request is supported by the fans, espcially if they see that requests came from all over the world. They can do nothing but stay and listen to us!
